Show up tired.

Show up new.

Show up again.

Yoga at MamaTee’s studio is small and personal on purpose. You'll get expert instruction in every class — not just a soundtrack and a vibe. Come as you are. Leave stronger than you came.

What we teach

Whether it's your first class or your thousandth, there's a spot for you on the schedule. Different classes, same practice underneath — pick the one that fits today, and come back for the others when you're ready.

How we teach

Ask the questions. Use the block, the strap, the bolster. Props aren't a sign you're behind, they're how the pose actually meets your body. If something doesn't feel right, say so. We'd rather pause and adjust than ignore and push past it.

When we teach

A new schedule begins August 24, 2026. We'll see you on the mat!

Tuesdays 8:30am | 6:30pm

Wednesdays 8:30am | 6:30pm

Thursdays 8:30am | 6:30pm

Saturdays 8:00am | 9:30am

Sundays 9:30am

Easy flow

The slowest of the flows. We move with the breath, hold the shapes a beat longer, and leave room for questions. If it's your first class, your body's tired, or you just want to slow down, this is the one.

Hatha

Hatha is the root most modern yoga grows from, and John teaches it the old way: one posture at a time. Expect a slower pace, poses held long enough to learn something from them, and steady attention to the breath. Good for your first class ever, and for a seasoned practice that needs slowing down.

Vinyasa flow

A steady, breath-led flow. We link movement to inhale and exhale until the group is warmed up and you're a little out of breath in a good way. Strong but not punishing. Modifications always offered.

slow and strong

A slow flow built around long holds. Moving slow sounds easy. It isn't. Your legs will shake. That's the strength part working. No heat, no rush. Just you, your breath, and the hold.

hip hop flow

All the spots that hold the most stuff: hips, pelvis, lower back. Set to the hip hop and R&B that raised us. We go deep, we breathe, and we have a good time doing it.

yin yoga

A floor practice held in long, quiet poses. Two to five minutes in each shape, working into the deeper tissue your faster classes can't reach. Quiet room. Bolsters and blocks doing real work.

RESET

A restorative class for the weeks that ask too much. Soft shapes, long holds, props doing most of the work. You won't sweat. You'll leave quieter than you came.

guided meditation

Come tired. Come carrying whatever the day handed you. Soft light, props for comfort, and Tee's voice guiding you into the breath.

Workshops

Workshops go deeper than a regular class — more instruction, more room to ask questions. Our workshops are built so the brand-new student and the teacher in the room both leave with something. More workshops are added as needs in the community arise.

STILL GOT QUESTIONS?

Come As You Are

I've never done yoga. Where do I start?

Any class on the schedule is a beginner-friendly class. Wear something you can move in, come a few minutes early, and tell the teacher it's your first time. That's it.

What do I bring?

Yourself, a mat, water, and clothes you can move in. We have a limited amount of mats if you don't have one yet.

What if I can't keep up?

That's what the teacher is there for. Modify, rest, breathe. There's no version of this practice where you "fall behind."

Can I bring a friend?

Yes — just have them book through MindBody so we save them a spot.

Do you have memberships or class packs?

Memberships, yes. Three levels, all through Mindbody: Steady is four classes a month for $72, Rooted is eight for $128, and Home is unlimited for $158.

We no longer sell class packs. If you're holding one, every class left on it is still good.

What is the First Month promo?

It's how we welcome you. Four classes in your first 30 days, $60, which comes to $15 a class. One class can't tell you much about a practice, four can. It's for anyone new to the studio, one per person, purchased through Mindbody. When the month ends, choose a membership or drop in whenever you like.
